Cells were circulated through closed systems using either the iFILL™ Micro or a standard peristaltic pump under equivalent operating conditions.

The Results: Cell Health Preserved

The study showed that cells pumped with the iFILL™ Micro remain healthy and functional, performing on par with cells handled by traditional peristaltic pumps:

  • High cell viability (>97%) was maintained across all test conditions
  • No delayed or hidden damage was observed over a sevenday recovery period
  • Normal cell morphology and integrity were preserved throughout

In short, the iFILL™ Micro demonstrated that it can safely handle fragile human T cells without compromising viability, recovery, or longer term cellular performance.
