About

Over 25 Years As An innovative manufacturer

Young by some standards, yet having proven the test of time by entrepreneurial standards.

Like many entrepreneurial startups, Intellitech began as Biller’s Design Service in the basement of Andy and Barb Biller’s home. The company delivered drafting, design and documentation services for client companies such as Northrop Grumman. During the early years, Andy brought on young interns from the Carroll County Technology Center to begin their careers and gain experience. Jamie G., Jamie L., Brent B., Ben T. and many others would all go on to pursue additional education and careers with companies including Northrop Grumman, AAI Corporation, General Dynamics, and York International.

Intellitech Explored And Exploited Opportunities For Growth in Innovative Manufacturing

Expansion as an AutoCAD software reseller and training source supported building design expertise in 3-D modeling and automated design tools.

Customer requests drove the company to move from design into first-article prototype and initial production of custom, automated systems. From initial prototypes, the company began to build expertise in precision liquid filling and has continued to build this technology niche since early 2000.

Today, Intellitech manufactures bench-top precision liquid filling systems, registered as the i-FILL® family of pumps. They deliver unmatched repeatability and accuracy for liquid filling volumes up to 100mL. Both the i-FILL and i-FILL Micro have been qualified for transferring delicate product such as live cells. Both the i-FILL pump models feature a single-use fluid path, ideally suited to the life science industry to ensure product sterility and reduce the need for time-consuming cleaning protocols.

An Innovative, Full-Service Manufacturer of Single-Use Systems and Precision Dispensing Pumps for Biopharma.

In 2015, Intellitech moved from Westminster, Maryland to St. Petersburg, Florida, allowing expansion of manufacturing and cleanroom assembly space to better serve its growing global customer base.

In 2019, NQA (an accredited ISO registrar) recommended registration of Intellitech’s Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015 under the scope of: design, development, manufacture, assembly, packaging, sales and distribution of standard and custom single-use fluid path assemblies primarily used in the life science (bio/pharma) and specialty chemical industries. In 2020, a NQA surveillance audit revealed no major or minor observations – a rare event after a challenging year contending with an international pandemic and economic uncertainty. Intellitech’s quality-driven culture performs at the highest level.
